Venue Familiarity

Premier rooms we’ve worked with

Pendrell Hall, Codsall Wood: One of Mark’s all-time favourite wedding venues. Having DJed here for over 30 years, our team visits six or seven times every season with both our Retro Pod and LED Magic Mirror.

Grand Station, Wolverhampton: Specialising in large-scale evening celebrations, including Hindu and Sikh receptions requiring spacious booth setups and fast high-volume printing.

Hampton Manor & Hogarths, Solihull: Beautiful historic estates with strict safety and supplier compliance requirements, where our certified £10M insurance and PAT credentials are pre-approved.

The Mount Hotel, Tettenhall: Located just minutes from our equipment base, making setup and late-night packdowns effortless.

Venue Compliance & Logistics

Paperwork handled directly with coordinators

When reviewing different photo booth hire areas and venues for your reception, estate coordinators require two essential legal safeguards before granting access:

  • ✓ £10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance (PLI): Comprehensive protection that satisfies even the strictest council or trust-owned estates.
  • ✓ Annual PAT Safety Certification: Every cable, strobe fixture, dye-sublimation printer, and touchscreen is certified and labelled.
  • ✓ Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS): Sent directly to your wedding coordinator so you have zero admin to manage.

Clear Travel Policy

First 20 miles free across all regional locations

For all photo booth hire areas and venues, we calculate mileage directly from our base in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton (WV6 0UL). For venues beyond the initial 20-mile radius, travel is billed at a straightforward 65p per mile each way.

For example, a wedding venue located 30 miles from our base adds just £13 to your quote. Every proposal clearly states exact travel costs upfront with no hidden surcharges.

Venue Planning Guide

Floor dimensions, power & logistics

Clear equipment specifications for all photo booth hire areas and venues to assist your wedding coordinator with floor planning.

Space Requirements

Booth Footprints

The Retro Wooden Pod requires an area of approximately 2m x 2m. If you opt for the LED Magic Mirror with red carpet and velvet ropes, we recommend 2.5m x 2.5m of level, indoor floor space for smooth guest flow.

Electrical Access

Single 13A Wall Socket

We draw minimal power using energy-efficient LEDs and commercial electronics. All we need is a standard 13-amp household socket within 10 metres. We supply our own safety-tested, heavy-duty extension cabling and rubber cable covers.

Arrival & Packdown

Discreet Coordination

We arrive 60 to 90 minutes before your booked start time to build the booth quietly during room changeover or evening coffee service. At the end of the evening, packing up takes roughly 45 minutes with zero disruption to the party.

Common Questions

Planning across different photo booth hire areas and venues

Can your photo booths be set up upstairs or in rooms without a lift?

Yes. Both our Retro Pod and LED Magic Mirror break down into modular flight cases designed for transport. While ground-floor setup or venues with lift access are ideal, we can accommodate stairs when notified in advance during the booking proposal stage.

Can you set up inside a wedding marquee or tipi?

Absolutely, provided the marquee has solid, level flooring (such as interlocking wooden boards) and a dry, weatherproof power source. We cannot set up directly on bare grass or unlevel ground due to delicate optical equipment and guest safety.

When do you send insurance and PAT paperwork to the venue?

We typically email our £10M Public Liability certificate and equipment PAT test schedules directly to your wedding coordinator 2 to 4 weeks before your event date, ensuring your venue file is completely signed off well ahead of time.
