Planning a wedding at Pendrell Hall is a bit like stepping into a storybook. It’s elegant, it’s grand, and it has that specific “country house” charm that makes every guest feel like royalty for the day. But we know what it’s like—once you’ve booked that stunning venue, the “how-will-it-actually-look” questions start kicking in.

At Wards Photo Booths, we’re lucky enough to be at Pendrell Hall all the time. We’ve seen the venue in every season, and we know exactly how much Pendrell couples love seeing real-life setups before they make their final decisions. That’s why we’re taking you behind the scenes to show you exactly what to expect when you bring our Magic Mirror into this incredible space.

Why the Magic Mirror Fits the “Pendrell Vibe”

Pendrell Hall is all about sophisticated fun. You’ve got the gorgeous oak panelling, the grand staircases, and that light, airy feel. A traditional “plastic box” photo booth can sometimes feel a bit… out of place in a room like that.

That’s where the Magic Mirror comes in. It’s essentially a piece of high-end furniture that happens to take world-class photos. With its sleek glass finish and ornate frame, it looks right at home next to Pendrell’s decor. It doesn’t hide the room; it reflects the beauty of it.

What Actually Happens on the Night?

When we roll up to Pendrell Hall, we’ve already done the “boring” stuff (coordinating with the venue team, checking the floor plan). By the time your evening guests are ready to party, we’re set up and ready to go.

The Magic Mirror is a total icebreaker. Guests walk up to what they think is just a mirror, and suddenly, it starts talking to them! With cheeky animations, a countdown timer, and a touch-screen interface, it guides your guests through the whole process. Whether it’s your bridesmaids doing their best “model” pouts or your grandad wearing a giant inflatable guitar, the Mirror catches it all in high definition.

The Dream Team: Working with Lee and Matt

One of the best parts of the job is working alongside other West Midlands pros. At a recent Pendrell Hall wedding, we were joined by two of the best in the business.

First up was Lee Morgan from WSDJ Wedding Sounds. If you haven’t seen Lee’s Rustic DJ setup, it is a masterclass in wedding aesthetics. It fits the Pendrell Hall Ballroom like a glove. Having a DJ like Lee means the music is on point, the lighting is atmospheric, and the energy in the room stays high—which, let’s be honest, makes for much better photos at our Mirror!

Then there was Matt Court from Visions and Vows Photography. We love working with Matt because he has a “ninja” style of photography—he’s everywhere at once, catching those candid, emotional moments. Having a pro photographer who understands how to work with the booth means you get the best of both worlds: Matt catches the “artistic” shots, and we catch the “party” shots.

When your DJ, photographer, and photo booth team all know each other, the night just works. There’s no clashing of equipment or awkward gaps in the evening. We just sync up and make sure you’re having the time of your life.

The “Wards” Difference: It’s in the Detail

We know you have choices when it comes to booth hire, but being a Wedding Industry Awards Regional Finalist and Hitched Winner means we don’t just “show up”. We obsess over the details.
